We believe in putting Jesus first in all we do, and welcome all to come worship with us. As one of the oldest Baptist churches in Texas, it is not our desire to live in the past. WHAT WE BELIEVE

WE BELIEVE  in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE God sent His son, Jesus, to be born of a virgin, live a sinless life, die on the cross and be raised from the dead on the third day.

WE BELIEVE each person must put their personal faith in Jesus Christ to save them for all eternity.

WE BELIEVE the church is to carry the good news of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

WE BELIEVE the love of Christ Jesus unites us to worship, disciple, evangelize and fellowship together in the local body of believers called the First Baptist Church of Bastrop, TX.
